Scenic views from our rooms

The New Forest National Park offers gorgeous sprawling woodlands, ancient heathlands, and idyllic villages at every corner. But imagine waking up to this natural grandeur and the ever-changing vistas, right outside your window. That’s the magic offered by the New Forest Collection, a group of charming hotels strategically nestled within the heart of the park.

Whether you’re getting ready to face the day in your hotel room, looking out toward the rolling hills, or dreaming of romantic strolls in the picturesque gardens on the site of your hotel, the New Forest Collection offers truly special views from every viewpoint.

An abundance of scenic views

At every turn, there is something magical to be seen in the New Forest. If you’re a fan of tranquil woodland views, immerse yourself in the verdant embrace of ancient trees at Bartley Lodge or Burley Manor. Imagine waking up to dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves, or enjoying an afternoon tea with a backdrop of rustling foliage. A spectacular sight all year round, but especially during the magic of the Autumn months when the red and brown hues create a gorgeous warm canvas. The beautiful Burley Manor is a fantastic choice for gorgeous sights. Home to striking rooms in a Baronial Manor House, just across the way, you’ll spot the neighbouring Red Deer Sanctuary with sights of leaping deer dotting the green canvas of fields.

If you prefer the green escape of rolling heaths and panoramic vistas, the New Forest Collection of hotels is in the perfect location to catch sights of the expansive heathland that stretches as far as the eye can see, painted in vibrant hues throughout the seasons. From here, you can witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets that cast the landscape in a magical glow.

Of course, if the quaint charm of traditional villages draws you in, Forest Lodge in Lyndhurst allows you to step outside and be greeted by bustling high streets and traditional cottages, while still being surrounded by the serenity of the forest and the beauty of the National Park.

Alternatively, steeped in history, Beaulieu Inn offers glimpses of centuries-old architecture and manicured gardens. Enjoy afternoon strolls with the iconic New Forest ponies grazing nearby, creating a picture-perfect rural escape.

Each season paints the New Forest in a new light. Spring brings vibrant wildflowers bursting across the meadows, adding hints of soft colour right outside your window, while summer transforms the landscape into a lush green haven. Complete with beautiful blue skies and the odd feathery cloud, as well as sights of the charming New Forest ponies and donkeys.

Autumn explodes with fiery colours, leaves swirling in the crisp air, and winter cloaks the forest in a serene blanket of white and beads of icy breath hang off the final blades of grass as the cold takes over.

No matter when you visit, the New Forest Collection guarantees a front-row seat to nature’s ever-changing performance. Whether you seek the soothing embrace of ancient woodlands, the expansive vistas of rolling hills, the quaint charm of village life, or the charm of the local ponies, there’s a perfect window waiting for you. Whether that is sitting at the table of The Drift enjoying a delicious meal, catching sights of the beautiful green spaces directly from your bedroom window, or as you drive to your chosen destination in awe.
