Start your engines – from physical vehicles and motoring objects, to photography and film collections and even a Caravan and Motorhome Club display, there are more than 280 vehicles that celebrate 140 years of engineering genius at The National Motor Museum Beaulieu. It is also home to an incredible collection of cars that all broke the land speed record.

Featuring some of the most well-known vehicles such as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, fan favourites from the World of Top Gear and toys from your childhood, there’s so much to take in from the moment you enter.

Feel free to have a look under bonnets whilst museum experts are on-hand and poised to provide you with all sorts of interesting facts and stats. For those who prefer a bird’s eye view, then the monorail ride through the roof of the museum is a must.

Where is Beaulieu Motor Museum?

Featuring free on-site parking, The National Motor Museum is one of several attractions at Beaulieu in the heart of the New Forest. If you’re travelling by rail, the nearest main line station is Brockenhurst – or if you’re visiting during the summer, opt for the bus and hop on The New Forest Tour’s Green Route which stops here too. If you’re driving here, the sat nav postcode is SO42 7ZN, but it’s advised to follow the handy brown signage when you’re within the last few miles.
