The lake is located in New Milton.
Rockbourne Trout Fishery is situated on the edge of the village of Rockbourne in the New Forest. It is home to 6 lakes and is surrounded by 55 acres of unspoilt woodland and pasture land – making it a stunning place for fishing in the New Forest. All of the lakes are well stocked with high quality trout.
Lin Brook Carp Fishery is situated in Ringwood and is a popular fishing lake in Hampshire. The 6 acre gravel pit has plenty of features such as reeds and a small island. The lake is home to around 475 carp, very rare albino grass carp and giant Welsh catfish.
Moors Lake was dug in 1985 and covers 9 acres. The lake is home to a variety of fish species including Roach, Rudd Perch, Dace and Tench. All are available to fish between 15th June and 15th March. During the summer holidays fishing tuition is available for children – making it a great family day out.
Sea fishing in the New Forest is a fun day out with mackerel and sea bass often being caught. Popular places to cast fishing lines are Leep beach, Calshot Spit, Milford-on-Sea, Hurst Spit and Lymington’s sea wall.
