An afternoon treat in Beaulieu

From patisserie treats to plump scones, everyone knows that afternoon tea is of course one of the best British traditions. In Beaulieu it’s no exception, as here at the New Forest Collection we have a couple of wonderful afternoon tea spots if you’re visiting the area.

The closest Beaulieu afternoon tea can be found at Beaulieu Inn in Taylors Bar, just five minutes away, or just a little further out, 16 minutes from Beaulieu, is Forest Lodge. Both boast all the afternoon tea classics that you’d expect to see, but each have their own unique ‘New Forest’ twist on afternoon tea.

Thanks to our majestic surroundings in the New Forest, our afternoon teas really are a force to be reckoned with. If you opt for sipping tea at Forest Lodge, our townhouse hotel featuring elegant Georgian architecture; or decide to tuck into a sandwich and scone at Beaulieu Inn, each venue is equally as delightful.

There’s so much choice – savoury treats with a side of bubbly; freshly baked goods accompanied by a variety of teas; a selection of interesting sarnies and sweet treats – there really is a tough decision to make when it comes to narrowing down your choices on the afternoon tea menus. Our menus consist of fresh ingredients that change seasonally.
