I am pleased to announce New Forest Collection have been awarded 4 stars by Quality in Tourism. Alongside a trailblazing silver for our responsible, ethical tourism (REST). The first in Hampshire to receive such accolade and a phenomenal achievement for the team!
QiT pride themselves on looking at a business from the outside-in, from a customer, community, employee and competitive perspective. Helping businesses, likes ours, become the best they can be. Whilst their REST operational accreditation is designed to quantify social and ethical responsibilities.
As a collection of hotels, within a popular tourist belt, it is paramount our focus remains on delivering strong service to our guests and supporting our people in equal measure. To be recognised for our continuous dedication to bettering our business and enriching lives with our New Forest Hospitality, throughout this challenging hospitality climate, whilst continuing to champion sustainability, is a huge accomplishment and the team should be immensely proud.
Through the teams collective contribution, i’m pleased to share our efforts in supporting the local community and corresponding charities, use of local suppliers, in-depth procurement processes, waste management and detailed accessibility statements were highly applauded by Quality in Tourism. Whilst our Green Butterfly campaign, which clearly defines our sustainability pathway and aspirations, was described as well executed and considered by Ruth Robinson QiT’s COO.
We are so pleased our areas of focus for the past few years have been recognised and look forward to implementing many of the growth opportunities within our Green Butterfly roadmap.
We are looking forward to the next year and to welcoming many more visitors with our New Forest hospitality.|
