Jessica’s love for photography began at a young age where she would play with her father’s camera. He too an avid photographer. She continued her passion in college and it was here her work began gaining an audience. Jessica started working freelance straight from college, with masses of encouragement from her family. This was 14 years ago and she has not turned back since!
At the beginning, models and live music were her go to, until one model requested, she photograph their wedding. As a photography novice, it was a surprise to hear the similarities between shooting live music and weddings. Strict timings, lighting changes and a high-pressure atmosphere are just a few of the many factors which translate across the two industries. Today her primary focus is wedding photography, but she continues to capture families, events & commercial work too.
Due to her 14-year experience and many awards won, Jessica has perfected her timeless, relaxed, and natural style, which is why many ask her to shoot their special day and family portraits. She understands the importance of capturing the perfect bank of image for her clients, so invites open conversations to ensure her style and their vision align.
