Forest Fun this Easter

Are you in search of some hopping great fun this Easter? Well look no further, as we’ve been told under good pretenses, by the bunny themselves, that the New Forest is jampacked with eggs-ellent adventures for the whole family this Easter. So why not begin planning your Easter break with some of our handy tips and tricks below?

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Add a touch of New Forest magic to your little one’s Easter half term with Bartley Lodge’s Teddy Bear Picnic on the 8th April. Join your favourite teddy bears from 12pm in Bartley Lodge’s beautiful orangery for an afternoon of Easter biscuit decorating with piping, sprinkles and jelly sweets and fairy door searching. Followed by a delicious snack box of sandwiches, sausage rolls, crisps and plenty of squash as well as teas, coffees and hot cross buns for the grown-ups, as you soak in plenty of spring sun. Prices start at £9.95 per little one and £14.95 per grown up.

Furzey Garden fairies

Furzey Gardens is a magical place where fairies live in tiny houses. Follow their spring trail and get to know some of the fairies’ favourite places as you explore. Simply find all the letters on the trail and claim your spring treat at the tea rooms.

Mini petrol heads

Hop to it and celebrate Easter at Beaulieu Motor Museum, as history comes to life, with the chance to experience remarkable vehicles and meet colourful characters out and about in the attraction from 1st to 16th April. With so much to see and do at Beaulieu this Easter, visitors can make the most of the return for free offer, allowing them and their original guests to come back for an additional visit in the six days after their first visit.

Can you canoe?

Enjoy a fun filled Easter paddle along the Beaulieu River in New Forest Activities stable ‘Canadian style’ canoes. Spend time taking in the stunning scenery of the river before disembarking for an Easter egg hunt with a twist! Your furry friends are welcoming to join too!
