The natural beauty of the National Park and its varying landscapes creates the ultimate backdrop for a day out horse riding and we’ll even start you off a with a hearty breakfast in our Lyndhurst Restaurant In The New Forest or welcome you back with a big home cooked meal after working up an appetite whilst taking to the bridleways and tracks, crossing the open heathland, and even trying out some of the coastal routes on horseback.

Where to ride?

Whilst you must remember to follow the New Forest Horse Riding code and adhere to all safety instructions and guidance, depending on your ability, there are different routes for you to enjoy in the Lyndhurst area. We always recommend that beginners take a lesson or practice at a stable before heading out to the roads.

In addition to the many fields to explore on horseback whilst taking in the stunning scenery and natural beauty in the area, there are also dedicated woodland hacks to be enjoyed, country roads for you to ride along during your horse riding adventure and of course there are some handy route instructions available.
