This suite celebrates Bartley Lodge’s heritage as the former home of the celebrated Victorian ‘father of geology’, Sir Chares Lyell. The room has plenty of space to relax and unwind with high ceilings, a glistening chandelier, and a large window with seating to enjoy the garden views.

Our Grand-deluxe rooms feature king size or twin beds, and a few have four-posters, with plenty of additional space and seating for two. To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we’ve included fluffy bathrobes in these rooms, as well as additional refreshments and toiletries. Enjoy the en-suite with a drenching rainfall shower, and make use of the Bluetooth speaker with USB input, a pod coffee machine and local Char tea.

With plush, mainly super-king size or twin beds, and more space to kick back in, our Deluxe rooms are an oasis of calm comfort. Add in the spacious en suite and the flat-screen TV with Freeview, plus soothing toiletries and you’re all set for a wonderful New Forest break. Generously proportioned and cleverly designed, many of these rooms are perfect if you’re bringing the little ones too with bunk bed sofas.

Most rooms feature king size bed or twins, topped with high-quality linens, these Classic rooms feature every touch to make your stay that more relaxing. These interior-designed rooms take their cue from the colours and patterns of our beautiful outdoors, with the addition of comfortable armchairs and spacious en-suites for most of these rooms.
