Horse Riding In Fordingbridge, New Forest

Horse Riding

As well as seeing the famous New Forest ponies (there’s an incredible 3,000 of them), the area is a wonderful place to go horse riding yourself, with miles and miles of beautiful trails and bridle paths.

We’ve done the homework for you and tracked down some of the best places to enjoy horse riding near Fordingbridge:

Saddle up

Arniss Equestrian is a family-run business in the village of Godshill, near Fordingbridge, which caters for riders from the age of four.

Their location means you can pretty much ride out into the New Forest without using public roads. Once in the forest there are many different trails to ride with spectacular views of the beautiful countryside. Amiss Equestrian is a BHS approved riding centre and livery yard, and a Pony Club linked Centre, with facilities including arenas for dressage and jumping, cross country schooling fences in our fields, and direct forest hacking. They host parties for birthdays, stag and hen dos, corporate events and popular pub rides.
