The rundown
On Christmas Eve, we’ll welcome you in with warm drinks and nibbles and you can later head to the bar for a locally-sourced three-course dinner and mince pies, because it wouldn’t be Christmas without mince pies. Wrap up your night with traditional parlour games and retire to your room for a good night’s sleep, ready for the big day ahead. On Christmas Day you’ll wake to the sweet smell of a freshly-cooked English cooked breakfast or continental selection, and while you explore the area or simply relax and unwind, you can look forward to your four-course Christmas feast later in the evening. Afterwards, you can take part in an evening quiz and put your festive knowledge to the test.
In the days between Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, sink into your wellies and start exploring the beautiful surrounding forest and heathlands. On the 30th December, a table is reserved in your name and is waiting for you to tuck into your glorious three-course dinner and afterwards, why not join an evening quiz again? You can show them who’s boss!
On New Year’s Eve, pull out your best attire, sip on chilled sparkling wine and nibble on canapés, before indulging in a four-course meal as you prepare for the countdown to midnight with the ones you love. There’s no better way to celebrate the New Year than to relax and take a bit of you-time – explore the grounds or curl up with a book before enjoying a selection of cold and hot dishes from our chef’s table.
Kids are welcome at all four hotels.
