We are delighted to announce our very own Garry Baldwin FIH has been named in The Boutique Hotelier Power List 2022 as an ‘Industry Disrupters To Know About- Business Leaders.’
The list is an annual celebration of the movers and shakers within the hospitality industry, those driving real change within the sector and aspiring their businesses to new heights. This year, the business leaders category sought recommendations and open nominations looking for those who demonstrated fearlessness and resilience, an individual leading their business from the front and building confidence in their team.
Garry is the biggest champion of New Forest Collection. His passion for our team, the industry and the beautiful New Forest has created a deeply rooted culture of bravery, collaboration, development and honesty. Boutique Hotelier expanded with ‘Notable achievements include introducing a real living wage for all staff, putting guest and team member safety at the forefront when introducing Covid-19 secure policies and maintaining a heavy focus on team wellbeing during long periods of lockdowns. Baldwin’s selflessness and personal approach (he knows every staff member by name) was also praised in submissions from our readers, with one stating ‘Garry’s support, guidance and encouragement has kept me engaged and driven through the toughest challenges of my career’.
Garry expressed his delight, sharing ‘It was a lovely surprise to be included within the list and a real honour to be representing my amazing team.
