Highcliffe Beach
In the summer you’ll find Bass, pouting, rays, dogfish, smoothhound, soles, eels and mackerel and in winter Codling, whiting, rockling and pouting.
A fairly shallow beach, this area is well known for its beautiful castle and a fantastic fishing spot.

Barton On Sea
Located to the south of New Milton, Barton On Sea boasts Bass, sole, rays, mackerel, pouting, plaice and dogfish in the summer and during the winter months Codling, whiting, pouting and rockling. Renowned for an incredible restaurant on its pebble beach it is another fishing hotspot featuring a variety of fish in the area.

Avon Beach
This fishing location really benefits from the tidal flow from the Harbour, famous for its great views towards the Isle of Wight. A spot to consider mainly in the summer months you’ll find Bass, sole, pouting, flounder, eels, mackerel and dogfish.

Hordle beach
Another popular choice all year round fishing is Hordle Beach, although as a really sought-after beach in the summer months daytime fishing is to be avoided as crowds do gather. Summer species include Bass, rays, mackerel, sole, dogfish, plaice and smoothhounds and in the winter look out for Whiting, flounders, codling and rockling.
