We know you’re not able to go out for date night and foodie treats this year so we’ve put together our top 5 most romantic spots for walks. Bursting with breathtaking views and secret spots to spend time with the one you love most, the New Forest is perfect for your daily dose of the great outdoors this Valentine’s.
Tell them you love them at the New Forest’s highest point, Piper’s Wait, near Bramshaw, Lyndhurst. They’ll feel on top of the world!
Take a drive down the beautiful Ornamental Drive, home of some of the tallest trees in the New Forest – although looking its best during the autumn season, there is just something so magical about this location all year round. Stop off and take a stroll on the Tall Trees Trail along the way – a 1.5 mile gentle romantic walk through the trees.
Stand atop the seven arches of the bridge spanning the River Avon at Fordingbridge.
Walk the 1.5 miles from Milford-on-Sea to experience the beauty of Hurst Spit. The castle won’t be open but you’ll be standing so far into the Solent you’ll feel you can touch the Isle of Wight.
If you choose to head out to any of these spots, be sure to keep safe and follow government guidelines. Don’t forget to tag us in your snaps and we’ll share our favourites on social!
