You’ll need:
25ml sugar syrup
25ml lemon juice
50ml gin (your favourite)
125ml chilled soda water
Cubed or crushed ice
Method:
- 1. In a tall glass filled with ice, pour the gin, lemon juice and syrup.
- 2. Stir thoroughly and top up with soda/sparkling water.
- 3. Garnish with a slice of lemon, serve and enjoy!
Why not try these twists on a classic?
- Raspberry Collins: For a fruity twist, muddle a handful of raspberries and half the amount of lemon juice.
- Elderflower Collins: Light and refreshing, for a super-summery twist, make as normal but sub the sugar syrup for elderflower cordial.
