Solent Education Business Partnership (EBP) and us at New Forest Hotels played host to an ‘Apprentice’ style challenge for local primary schools in the New Forest. Held at our Beaulieu Hotel, the children were divided into teams and asked to design and market a new flavour of fruit punch for sale in all four New Forest Hotels over the summer. The children were assisted by a number of professionals who sort to bring out their entrepreneurial side.
Following a day of designing, testing and marketing the children had to pitch their final product to a panel of industry professionals who chose the most original and authentic idea. Blackfield Primary School won with their ‘Conqueror’s Cocktail’, based around the history of the New Forest and including British ingredients such as apple, pear and strawberry with a splash of lemonade.
The event was a great success teaching local primary school children about both the hotel and drinks industry and testing their entrepreneurial skills. Pop in for a taste of the ‘Conqueror’s Cocktail’ now!
