"I wanted to drop a line regarding our recent stay at Moorhill House. My husband and I got maried at this hotel 2 ears ago and I am ashamed to say I did not send the hotel any feedback at the time praising it on making our day very special, and I could not fault it in any way either in the lead up to or during the day itself. Alex was very attentive (and patient at times with us)!
As I mentioned, we have again stayed there and once again had a fabulous time. We were greeted by Alex on our arrival who recognised us and made us feel welcome and like individuals. This was followed up with great service throughout our stay from all the staff with a special thank you to Tom who served us at dinner and breakfast and was very pleasant and professional. Although there was a wedding in progress, I did not feel any service to us suffered.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our wedding dreams come true. I stayed the night of the 22.09.11 in our bridal suite, and my Husband and I stayed the night of our wedding on the 23rd Sept 2011. Alex and her team welcomed us into the Moorhill House Hotel as though we were old friends, everything we wanted we got from moving the furniture in the small waiting area to enable us to walk out of the wedding ceremony room straight into the beautiful gardens without having to squeeze past furniture (which under normal circumstances is not in the way but with a big wedding dress and a long train was a bit of a squeeze) to spending time the night before our wedding going through where everything will be, how we will be seated, the process of the day, a walk through and more.
I tried smuggling our honeymoon 4 poster bed out the room but it just wouldnt fit in the car, it was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in. The chef did the most amazing wedding breakfast, so many of our guests comlimented us on our choice of menu (in fact it was the standard wedding breakfast menu but they didnt know this!). The receptionists, bar staff, waitresses and waiters are all professional and most importantly friendly, helpful and were genuiningly glad to be part of our very special day.
We had more compliments on choosing such a beautiful hotel than I can remember. Everyone was happy includig my father who is a very hard man to please. So Alex, thank you for everything you and your team did, you went so far out of your way to make our day special you will never know how impressed, happy and pleased we are with the service we received from the Moorhill House Hotel. We will come back each year on our wedding anniversairy for dinner, bed and breakfast and some of our guests have decided to pay you a visit in the not too near future."

"Organising a group weekend away is always a worry but I've had nothing but glowing feedback from the 50 members of the Essex Group of the TR Register who've just got home after an absolutely cracking weekend.
