The Moorhill House Hotel is the perfect destination for families with children of all ages wanting a relaxing break in a quiet location.
There is so much to do at the hotel, you can take afternoon tea in the gardens, play croquet and badminton on the lawns or float around in the heated indoor swimming pool. You can even spend time counting the many ponies which frequently wait to see you at the front door.
Although you are hidden away in the woods the location of the hotel on the edge of Burley means you are only moments away from the nearby attractions and activities designed to give everyone a great time out in the New Forest countryside.
As with all our New Forest Hotels we have a selection of family rooms specially designed for your comfort with secluded bunk beds, so children can share your room but with their own space. We also provide cots and bed-guards for those tinier guests who are not yet big enough to enjoy their own bunk. A number of the family rooms are also large enough to take an extra bed so families of five won’t miss out on staying together.
Our child friendly team will do all they can to make sure you have all you need to enjoy your stay. The chefs have designed an à la carte children’s menu so they won’t miss out on trying the delicious food and we have highchairs so the children feel welcome in the dining room. However, if you decide that you would like to dine without your baby our staff will happily provide a baby listening service so you can have a relaxing dinner or drink in the bar while your little ones sleep.
