Many of the dishes served use New Forest Marque or produce from other local suppliers, not only to allow you to have a taste of the forest but also to support local businesses. Particular favorites on the menu are the pan fried Portland sea bream, served with Scottish scallops and basil gnocchi; the Hampshire Lamb served with aubergine, fondant potato and caramelized shallot puree, and the slow cooked Dorset pork belly with cheek cannelloni, greens, roasted celeriac and apple puree.
There are plenty of tempting desserts to choice from as well, including warm pistachio sponge, lemon curd parfait and a homely clotted cream rice pudding, as well as a selection of New Fores ice creams.
