"We arrived at the hotel on a very dreary day to be welcomed by really charming and attentive members of staff who also made the dog very welcome. We were originally booked into one of the Keeper rooms, which was in the annexe, for two nights, however on seeing my partner on crutches we were immediately offered an upgrade to a wonderful room on the ground floor within the hotel itself, with disability provisions. Our stay was made most comfortable by the excellent selection of food, the cosiness of the hotel and the wonderful attitude of the staff in all departments where nothing was too much trouble. We will certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely be visiting again. We actually extended our staff to a third day at  the same offer price. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

"Location of hotel is lovely looking right out over the New Forest heathland. At first we were disappointed with the location of our garden room which was not in the hotel but in the annexe but in reality it was a nice spacious room and lovely and peaceful. All of the staff were really pleasant and helpful and we could not fault the food - it was first rate! All in all a great break - the only thing which would have made it better was less rain!"
