Dining

The Crystal Restaurant at Bartley Lodge Hotel serves delicious meals using local produce in a beautiful dining room overlooking the gardens. In the summer months you can appreciate the cool breeze as the French doors onto the garden are opened while in the winter you can enjoy the roaring fire whilst you eat. The setting combined with our AA Rosette makes it extremely popular with locals as well as hotel residents. Although now an elegant restaurant this room is believed to have originally been the library housing Charles Lyell’s many books on geology.

Our hotel guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and even bar snacks, and we welcome non-residents for breakfast, evening dinner and Sunday lunch. Booking is recommended.

Our tasty New Forest breakfasts range from the classic, cooked-to-order English feast to a continental breakfast – and a glass of Champagne for those special occasions.

You don’t have to be staying with us at Bartley Lodge Hotel to stop and enjoy lunch or a bar snack with us.

The Hunters Bar is a cosy place for pre- or post-dinner drinks at Bartley Lodge, or perhaps you'd rather sink into one of the sofas in front of the fire in the lounge. In the summer months you can enjoy a glass of cold wine in the gardens as the sun sets in the distance.
