Bartley Lodge Hotel is the perfect destination for families with children of all ages wanting a leisurely break in a convenient New Forest location. There is plenty to do at the hotel, you can take afternoon tea in the gardens, play croquet and giant jenga on the lawns, run or walk around the acres of gardens or have paddle in the heated indoor swimming pool.
The country classic of all or hotels means there are lots of rooms to explore in the hotel and although you feel as if you are surrounded by gardens and forest you are within easy reach of many of the local children’s attractions such as Paulton’s Park and Marwell Wildlife, not forgetting the miles of New Forest National Park.
As with all our New Forest Hotels we have a selection of family rooms specially designed for your enjoyment with secluded bunk beds, so children can share your room but in the comfort of their own space. We also provide cots and bed-guards for those smaller guests who are not yet big enough to sleep in their own bunk. A number of the family rooms are also large enough to take an extra bed so families of five won’t miss out on staying together.
Our child friendly hotel staff will do all they can to make sure you have all you need to enjoy your family break at Bartley Lodge. The chefs have designed a children’s à la carte menu so they too can enjoy tasting the delicious food and we have highchairs so even small children can eat comfortably in the dining room. However, if you decide that you would like to dine without your baby our staff will happily provide a baby listening service so you can have a relaxing dinner or drink in the bar while your little ones sleep.
If you are already tempted by a family break with us you will be thrilled to know that that all children under the age of 2 (infants) stay and eat for free when sharing your room. Children aged three and over will be charged as follows:
